A note on how we work with creators

If you've landed here, you're probably wondering whether we pay for UGC. The short answer is no, and the reason matters.

Adapt is a therapeutic good listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), which means our advertising is regulated by the TGA. Under the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code, we cannot use a creator's testimonial, meaning content where they share their personal experience with our product, if that creator has received any form of payment or incentive in exchange for it. The TGA calls this "valuable consideration," and it includes:

  • Cash or fees
  • Gifted product sent in exchange for content
  • Discount codes or perks tied to a posting requirement
  • Trips, events, or experiences contingent on coverage

The rule exists for a good reason: consumers deserve to trust that reviews of therapeutic products are genuinely unbiased.
